Mari Tampere-Bezrodny is a wellknown violinist and professor. During decades she has played as a soloist with many famous symphony and chamber orchestras as well as recitals and, of course, chamber music in more than 40 countries in Europe, Asia and America. With conductors like E.Klas, L.Grin, N.Jarvi, J.Domarkas, I.Bezrodny, M.Rostropovich and many others.
Mrs. Tampere-Bezrodny has made many world-premieres of Russian and Estonian composers’works for violin such as Violin Concertos by Jaan Rääts, René Eespere, Sonatas and pieces by Nikolai Rakov, Lepo Sumera etc. She has appeared as a pianist, cembalist and conductor as well. Numerous of recordings have been made by M.Tampere to the Estonian and Moscow Radio and TV. As chamber musician she has collaborated with pianists Ivari Ilja, Risto Lauriala, Sergei Bezrodny, Aleksandra Juozapenaite, cellists Erkki Rautio, Valentin Feigin, violinists I.Bezrodny, L.Isakadze, D.Sitkovetsky, violist Feodor Druzhinin and others.
She studied at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatoire and completed her Post Graduate studies with a legendary violinist, professor Igor Bezrodny .
Today Mari Tampere is professor of violin at the Estonian Music Academy and Sibelius-Academy in Finland. She has been teaching in Moscow Conservatoire (1996-2001) and additional to that she had regularly Master Classes in Madrid (2001-2006). During many years, Mrs. Tampere-Bezrodny has given numerous master classes in most of European countries, USA, Israel, China, Russia, Japan etc.
Very many of her students are prize-winners of different international competitions, and leaders of numerous orchestras all over the world. Among them concertmasters in Finnish National Opera, Estonian National Opera, Helsinki Philharmonia, Opera Real in Madrid, Dallas Symphony, Birmingham Symphony, Lisboa Symphony Orchestra, Turku and Tampere Philharmonias (Finland), Jerusalem Symphony etc. Many of them are professors in different Conservatoires.
As a jury member Mari Tampere-Bezrodny has been in many international competitions like Postacchini International Violin Competition, Tchaikovski International Youth Competition, Osaka International Music Competition, Jeuness Musical, Heino Eller International Violin Competition and many others.
