Albert Zorrilla Agut was born in Castellón and studied in “Conservatorio Superior de Música de Castellón” and in the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater with Bruno Vidal and Mari Tampere-Bezrodny.
In 2010 obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Violin and graduated in Music Education at the University Jaume I. In 2013 received his diploma; Master in Violin Interpretation in the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in Tallinn with Professor Mari Tampere-Bezrodny. Between 2015 and 2023 he studies the teacher training courses in Violin Suzuki Method, obteining the Diploma in Level 5 Violin Teacher, learning with professors Koen Rens, Akiko Oi and Anna Podhajska.
Frequently assists courses in violin pedagogy with professors Claudio Forcada, Sergio Castro, Mimi Zweig, Wilfried Van Gorp, Haruo Goto, Christophe Bossuat, etc.Albert has been a member of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Castellón, Youth Symphony Orchestra of Catalonia, Castellón Symphony Orchestra, Carl Nielsen Chamber Orchestra (Denmark), Aurora Festival Symphony Orchestra (Sweden), and the Baltic Youth Philharmonic with which had been participating in tours under the direction of conductors such as Kurt Masur or Kristjan Järvi. Together with the Baltic Youth Philharmonic, Albert has been collaborating with Leipzig MDR Orchestra giving concerts around Germany in May 2012.
He had played violin and chamber music recitals in France, Estonia, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, and in different cities of Spain. With the orchestra, Albert has played in concert halls in Germany, Russia, France, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Austria, Estonia, and Spain.
In 2007 won the first prize of Youth Soloist Concurs of “Conservatorio Profesional “Mestre Tàrrega” de Castellón”. In April 2013 he plays a chamber music recital with the famous Estonian pianist Age Juurikas in Castellón Concert Hall.
He has been awarded a scholarship by “Fundación Dávalos Fletcher”, “Diputación de Soria” and Archimedes Foundation to extend his studies.
He has attended masterclasses with Professors Stephan Picard, Viktor Tetrjakov, Michael Vaiman, Alexandru Gavrlovici, Andreas Kretcher, among others.
At present, Albert Zorrilla is violin teacher in Escuela de Música y Conservatorio Profesional “Victoria dels Àngels” de Sant Cugat del Vallés (Barcelona).
